In an effort to introduce more young artists to the Blues Mississippi Action for Community Education (MACE) organizers of the Mississippi Delta Blues & Heritage Festival proudly announces, the 1st Annual Writing Competition for Young Blues Artists.  Winner(s) of the competition shall receive a $300 cash prize plus, have their winning song performed by a legendary Blues band, at the 30th Mississippi Delta Blues & Heritage Festival and during “Blues Week” September 8-15, 2007.  For additional information, please download the flyer with official rules and an entry form.
